A tuning-fork for generating current of fixed frequency is maintained in vibration by a coil 2 fed from an amplifier 3 controlled by capacityinduced voltage from plates 4 facing the prongs of the tuning fork, thus avoiding coupling between the driving coil and the pick-off of the fork.
