802,052. Induction motors. NORDEN - KETAY CORPORATION. May 3, 1954, No. 13651/56. Class 35. [Also in Group XXXVIII] The rotor output winding 10 of a conventional receiver selsyn feeds the quadrature winding 22 of a torque motor 24 which in turn alters the angular position of an auxiliary stator winding 23 of a servomotor 26 which restores the rotor 10 to datum position. The servomotor has a fixed stator 28 carrying main winding 18, and a rotatable stator 30 carrying the auxiliary winding 23. This winding is rotatable, directly or through gearing, by the torque motor, up to 90 degrees displacement from the main winding. A speed-responsive winding 25 in quadrature with winding 23 produces damping.
