Abstract

801,852. Impedance networks. RANK CINTEL, Ltd. Nov. 19, 1956 [Nov. 18, 1955], No. 33056/55. Class 40 (8). [Also in Group XL (c)] In a magnetic scanning circuit, for a cathode - ray tube, Group XL(c), accurate integration is obtained by feeding back a voltage proportional to that across the inductance of the deflection coils 4, 5, which are transformer coupled to the circuit. Section C<SP>1</SP>, R<SP>1</SP> corrects for the primary resistance and leakage inductance; C<SP>3</SP>, R<SP>3</SP> for the secondary resistance and leakage inductance, C<SP>2</SP>, R2 for the primary inductance and loss resistance and C4, R4 for the coil resistance. Expressions are given for the component values. A larger feedback voltage is provided by the circuit of Fig. 7, not shown, wherein C<SP>3</SP>, C<SP>4</SP> are combined into a single capacitor and R<SP>3</SP>, R4 are also combined into a single component which is connected to the lower side of the capacitor.
