Abstract

799,505. Transformers. MULLARD RADIO VALVE CO., Ltd. June 6, 1956 [March 25, 1955], No. 8777/55. Class 38 (2). An arrangement for clamping the laminations of a transformer core comprises elongated anglesection members 2 which fit around the cages of each face of the core and whose ends are cut so as to abut at each corner. Each member 2 is provided with projections or recesses 4 cooperating with recesses or projections in corner pieces 5 which each cover the abutting edges 3 of two adjacent members 2. Bolts passing through the corner members secure the laminations. Upstanding flanges 10 are provided on the corner pieces for mounting the transformer or mounting tag boards on the transformer.
