Abstract

797,243. Conveyers for harvesting machines. FELLA-WERKE GES. Oct. 11, 1956, No. 31022/56. Class 78 (1). A conveying apparatus for a harvesting- machine 10 includes an endless conveyer 2 onto which the cut crop falls, the crop being discharged by a rotating roller 4 provided with retractable prongs 5. As shown, the crop from roller 4 is passed by square roller 17 to binder or thresher 10. The roller 17 may have different shapes; it may be conical or triangular, and may be rubber-edged, and may be made of sheet-metal. Guide-bars 12 are fixed at 13 and vibrated by roller 17 to assist the feed of the material leftwards.
