Abstract

796,451. Gloves. RICH, E. March 22, 1957 [March 23, 1956], No. 9164/56. Class 141 In a glove having a portion at the wrist folded inwards along a line 3 and an inclined slit 4 extending in from the folded edge, the material at the edges of the slit is sewn together. The slit is formed by making an obtuse V-shaped cut in the trank, e.g. by a suitable chisel. The folded edge may be turned after sewing to form an inseam along the slit edges. The edge of the folded-over portion may be handfelled.
