Class 75(1) A gas burner of the 'kind comprising a circular head formed on a tubular stem and having peripheral gas outlet orifices h is provided at each position where short flames are required with two adjacent restricted orifices i interconnected by a shallow recess j. The head comprises a circular cap having a flange e coned to fit on a coned annular rim on the main part of the head; the outlet orifices h, i and the recess j are formed as slots in the coned surface of the flange e.
