Abstract

789,695. Two-part couplings. NETTLE ACCESSORIES, Ltd., and GARNER, J. A. Aug. 21, 1956 (Aug. 25, 1955], No. 24440/55. Class 38 (1). In order to prevent a terminal screw 3 of a plug pin 2 becoming unscrewed due to vibration, the ends of a spring strip 4 riveted to the pin engage two sides of the head of the screw 3. Spring clips 12 are similarly provided for socket contact terminal screws 11 (Fig. 4) and are held in position by projections 14 from recesses 8. Each terminal screw may also pass through a hole in a projection on the spring clip to assist in holding the latter in position.
