788,586. Internal shoe-drum brakes. DEUTSCHE PERROT-BREMSE GES. March 23, 1956 [March 25, 1955], No. 9094/56. Class 103 (1). In a brake having pairs of shoes arranged on each side of a central back plate member 9 and actuated by respective fluid pressure cylinders 10, adjustment means for the shoes comprises coaxial shafts operated by squared ends 40 and 42, which turn worms 38 and 34 to rotate worm wheels 33 which adjust the position of screwed bolts 28 in a bush 27 by which thrust is transmitted from one shoe to another.
