Abstract
783,680. Indicating-apparatus. GAGNESI, S. Feb. 9, 1956 [Feb. 12, 1955; Sept. 14, 1955], No. 4020/56. Class 106 (4). Indicating-apparatus comprises two pointers 5, 6 co-operating with a dial 4 for thousands and tenthousands of units divided into numbered sectors and a pointer 9 co-operating with a dial 8 of numbered lines for indicating hundreds or fractions of hundreds, the two dials 4, 8 being coaxial but axially offset, the hand or hands carrying the pointer or pointers co-operating with the rear dial being arranged in the space between the dials and partly covered by the front dial. The pointers 5, 6, 9 carry distinguishing symbols and appropriate legends 11 are applied to the instrument. The higher denominations dial 4 may be annular and to the rear of the other circular dial (as shown) or the arrangement may be reversed and the graduations of the lower denomination dial may be numbered in units or hundreds. An indication of barometric pressure may be given through a window 10 in the seventh sector.
