1,110,779. Determining composition of a gas electrically. R. HœBNER. Jan. 4, 1966 [jan. 5, 1965], No.220/66. Addition to 1, 097, 641. Heading G1N. A portable instrument for determining the amount of gas in a sample of air in mines as described in Specification 1, 097, 641 is modified by the addition of a counter which registers one unit more each time the instrument is used. The counter may be electrically or mechanically actuated. A second counter may be provided to register the number of testing operations per shift, the second counter being reset to zero after each shift.
