782,815. Side-delivery rakes. VAN DER LELY N.V., C. Dec. 29, 1953 [Jan. 2, 1953], No. 2344/56. Divided out of 782,813. Class 6(3). In a side-delivery rake of the kind having an oblique series of rake-wheels 1 driven by groundcontact, the supporting frame comprises two beams 5A, 5B, hinged together in alignment, the drawbar 7 being secured to one beam 5B. The other beam 5A is connected to the drawbar by an arched member 10 passing over the rakewheels and being hinged to the drawbar at 11 co-axially with the hinge 6 between the beams. The rake-wheels are carried by rigid stub-axles 3 on the beams which are supported by resiliently mounted castors 13, 14. The beams 5A, 5B are spring-loaded into alignment at the hinge 6, the spring-loading being adjustable.
