Abstract

782,365. Syringes. KELSEY INDUSTRIES, Ltd. Oct. 6, 1955 [Oct. 6, 1954], No. 28788/54. Class 102(2). An extrusion gun comprises an open-sided trough 1 for the reception of a cartridge, having an end cap 2 for receiving a nozzle on the cartridge and an end cap 4 having a hole through which passes a trigger actuated plunger rod 6 carrying a plunger 7 and having teeth 8 formed thereon. The cap 4 is secured to a handle 9 carrying the trigger 11 which has a pawl for engagement with the teeth 8, and a second pawl to prevent the return of the plunger rod. The rod 6 is rotatable to disengage the pawls from the teeth. The nozzle may be formed on the gun.
