A spray nozzle 14 e.g. a cone or flat spray nozzle, for use in an agricultural or airplane spray rig is operated by a remote valve 16 and is provided with a diaphragm check valve 36 (see Division F2) whereby dripping from the nozzle is prevented after valve 16 has been closed.
