[Also in Group XXVIII] In a gun for extruding a mastic compound contained in a collapsible envelope, the plunger 6 has a concave face 9 to prevent the envelope jamming between the periphery of the plunger and the barrel of the a gun. A taper 11 facilitates re-entry of the plunger 6 into the barrel after the empty envelope has been ejected.
