Abstract
781,053. Two-part couplings; lamp-holders. BENJAMIN ELECTRIC, Ltd. March 9, 1955 [March 9, 1954], No. 6901/54. Class 38 (1). In a lamp fitting of the type wherein a bayonet holder 25 is supported in a neck 20 of a reflector 21, detachably connected to a crown 10 by a hook 14 and latch 16, the holder supports comprise flat strip conductors 28 bent over at their lower ends and secured by screws 30 to the holder contacts 31 and their upper ends extending through an insulating member 23 to form plug contacts which engage contacts in the crown 10. Member 23 is secured by screws 22 to the neck 20 and conductors 28 are secured in member 23 by an insulating block 32 secured by a screw 33 and having projections which engage apertures in the conductors. An earthing strip 29 is connected between one of the screws 22 and a screw securing a supplementary reflector 26 to the holder 25. Specifications 413,842 and 781,055 are referred to.
