Abstract

781,054. Two-part couplings; lamp-holders. BENJAMIN ELECTRIC, Ltd. March 9, 1955 [March 9, 1954], No. 6902/54. Class 38 (1). A lamp fitting is described which is similar to that described in Specification 781,053, except that an Edison screw-type lampholder replaces the bayonet-type holder. The lower ends of conductors 28 are bent outwardly and secured by bolts 30, 39 to the upper surface of insulating carrier 24. Bolt 30 also serves as one of the securing bolts for the screwthreaded shell of the holder located on the lower surface of the carrier and also holds in place a connecting-piece 31. A spiral spring connector 38 connects bolt 29 to a central spring- plunger contact 36.
