A holder for cap-less lamps comprises a resilient insulating body 1 having a lamp-receiving cavity 10 at one end of a sleevelike portion 22 provided with a a pair of bores 23 adapted to receive the lamp leads 19, 20 and circuit wires 14, 15 in contacting relationship. Conducting sleeves may be inserted in the bores to enclose the engaged wires. Alternatively, conducting material may be deposited on the walls of the bores. The wires 14, 15 may be secured in the holder by fusing their insulation to the outer end of the body portion 22.
