A holder for capless electric lamps of the type described in the parent Specification is fixed into or formed as an integral part of a panel or electrical appliance either by providing the panel or appliance with a recess to accommodate the socket, or, if the panel or part of the appliance is moulded from a suitable material, by forming the socket as an integral part of the moulded article, in which case terminal pieces may also be inserted in the mould. The invention may also be used with printed circuit panels.
