779,044. Inductors. PHILIPS ELECTRICAL INDUSTRIES, Ltd. Oct. 12, 1955 [Oct. 15, 1954], No. 29074/55. Class 38 (2). An electrical inductor -more particularly for correcting the linearity of the deflection current in a television receiver-comprising a coil 3 surrounding an open-ended core 1 pre-magnetized by permanent magnetism is characterized in that there are a number of permanent magnets 25 of elongated shape secured around the coil 3 in positions parallel to the core 1. The means for securing the permanent magnets in position comprises a thermoplastic casing 7 provided with apertures for the coil 3 and the magnets 25.
