[Also in Group X] A strip of sheet metal, Fig. 1, having two series 2, 3 of parallel, inclined, overlapping slots is expanded to form a girder, Fig. 4, having an upper boom 9 connected by two series of oppositely sloping braces 11 to two lower booms 10 connected together by clips 13. The clips 13 abut against the braces 11 and have prongs or a tab to secure bars or roof spars. Specification 778,284, [Group X], is referred to.
