Class 20(2) A lattice girder comprises a main truss consisting of two parallel steel rods 1, 2 joined by a lattice of diagonal rods 3 and a subsidiary truss comprising two parallel rods 8, 5 joined oy a lattice of diagonal rods 9, the two trusses being stiffened by rods 4. At the ends of the girder the rods 5 and 2 bend in to a T-section support plate 7a. The inner rod 8 may be omitted and the two trusses may be at acute or obtuse angles to each other.
