777,791. Gas-producers. KOPPERS GES., H. July 12, 1955 [July 22, 1954], No. 20209/55. Classes 55 (1) and 55 (2). [Also in Group XIII] A gas product has a heat exchanger 3 and a gas washer 2 formed as a unit, hot gas enters by pipe 12 into a dust collecting chamber 4 and passes upwardly through the tubes 14 of the heat exchanger 3 and into the gas washer 2, leaving by pipe 30. Water is supplied to the washer by pipe 31 and overflows through pipe 27 into a collecting vessel 10 which also receives dust separating out in the tubes 14 and the chamber 4.
