[Also in Group XVIII] A main valve mechanism for air-dispensing apparatus comprises a valve body G containing the valve 73, a valve operating plunger 80 protruding from the body, an air-operated motor member 87, a lever 86 in direct operative connection with the motor and valve plunger, and a spring 85 urging the lever in opposition to the urge of the motor member and means, e.g. the striker lever 107, operable by the lever 86, for actuating an audible signal, e.g. the bell J. This mechanism is incorporated in airdispensing apparatus as described in Specification 766,354.
