775,544. Carbon pile regulators. STONE & CO. (DEPTFORD), Ltd., J. Dec. 18, 1953 [Dec. 31, 1952], No. 34443/55. Class 37. The subject matter of this Specification is contained in Specification 775,541 and relates to a carbon pile regulator comprising an electromagnet co-operating with an armature mounted on a pivoted clapper through which the pile is compressed. The claims are concerned with the bimetallic means which reduces the rate of change of the force exerted by a control spring on the clapper per unit of angular displacement in response to rise in temperature of the electromagnet winding. Specifications 775,542 and 775,543 also are referred to.
