Abstract

774,015. Frequency-changing circuits. TELEFUNKEN GES. Nov. 2, 1954 [Nov. 2, 1953], No. 31589/54. Class 40(6) In a self-oscillating frequency-changer in which the output is back-coupled to the input by a oscillatory circuit 2 and coupling inductance 3 and the signal input circuit 4 is connected between earth and a tap on the input inductance 3, the end of which remote from the valve is earthed via a condenser 6 balancing the input capacity of the valve, the effect upon the input circuit of the anode-grid capacity is also balanced out. For this purpose the circuit 2 is provided with a capacity tap comprising condenser 7 and the anodeearth capacity of the valve if necessary, augmented by a further condenser 8. The tap is located in the same proportion as the tap on the input inductance 3, and the anode-grid capacity balanced by a condenser 9. The inductance of the circuit 2 is also tapped in the same proportion, the inductance 10 of the first I.F. circuit being connected to this point; it is tuned by the condensers 7, 8.
