773,893. Coated nylon fabric. TRELLEBORGS GUMMIFABRIKS AKTIEBOLAG. June 15, 1954, No. 17620/54. Class 40. A woven nylon fabric is coated on one or both sides with a butyl rubber containing a filler which is in the form of flakes, and the butyl rubber is vulcanized on the fabric. Fillers may be mica, graphite or aluminium in amount 10-50 per cent. Butyl rubber is a copolymer of an olefin, e.g. isobutylene, and a diolefin, e.g. butadiene or isoprene. The coated fabric is resistant to war gases, and may be made up into protective clothing.
