Abstract
771,611. Mixing machines. LASKA, F. Aug. 18, 1954 [Sept. 3, 1953], No. 24008/54. Class 86 [Also in Group VI] A meat cutting and mixing machine comprises a revolving annular bowl 2, Fig. 1, revolving cutters 5 extending into the bowl, and a mixing or kneading device comprising a rotating mixing or kneading member 10 mounted in a fixed connection to the machine stand 1 and driven, preferably through worm gearing 11, 12, from the cutter spindle 4 at a much slower speed than that of the spindle. The mixing member 10 is shown as an apertured blade corresponding approximately to the .cross section of the bowl. The upper edge of the blade may be inclined to the direction of rotation to urge the meat into the bowl 2 when rotating. The apertured blade may be replaced by two hook shaped blades on separate shafts driven through worm gearing from a common worm. In another construction the blade is hooked-shaped on a shaft extending obliquely into the bowl 2. The machine may have a hood 13, Fig. 7, provided with insets 15 fixed or detachable which may provide spaces 16 for temperature-influencing therewith. The drive for the member driven may be carried by the hood.
