769,607. Polishing mops. WOLF ELECTRIC TOOLS, Ltd. Jan. 30, 1956 [Feb. 1, 1955], No. 2981/55 Class 60 A polishing mop comprises a pair of side plates 2, 3 apertured for receiving the threaded end portion of the spindle 7 of a grinding machine and a shrouding 8, 10 extending from each of the plates for ensuring that the threaded portion of the spindle is completely covered when the mop is in position. The shrouding 8 may be made by a pressing operation and have a hole 14 to provide clearance for the spindle 7 while the shrouding 10 may consist of a length of metallic or non-metallic tubing and be secured to the mop by a bayonet fastening. Alternatively, both shroudings may be secured by rivets or nails 4 which are bent over at 13.
