769,341. Lens mounts. KAMERABAUANSTALT. Oct. 18, 1954 [Dec. 3, 1953; June 26, 1954], No. 29934/54. Class 97(1) To allow of focusing of near and far objects in a photographic camera such as a single lens reflex camera the mirror of which permits only slight penetration of the objective into the camera housing, the objective mounting consists of a carrier for the objective 1 connected to a funnel member 10 carrying two coaxial tubes, 2 and 5 having between them a helical screw thread engaged by a corresponding thread on at.least one further tubular member 13 which, in the infinity position of the objective is located wholly within the space between the tubes 2 and 5 and which carries means for connecting the mount to the camera. In the device shown an additional tubular member 3 is provided the outward screwing movement of the mounting being limited by stops 9 and 15. A ring 12 is provided to operate the iris diaphragm 11 by way of the funnel member 10. The average diameter of the screw-threaded tubes is greater than the focal length of the objective. In a modification the member 3 is omitted.
