Abstract

766,842. Clocks and watches. ANGLO CELTIC WATCH CO., Ltd. Aug. 16, 1955 [Sept. 23, 1954], No. 27575/54. Class 139. In a lever escapement the lever is adjustable towards and away from the arbor of the escape wheel. The pivotal arbor 25, Fig. 2, of the lever 11 is located in bearings in plates 19, 20 spaced by sleeves 21, 22 which receive screws 28, 29 which fix the plates 19, 20 to the frame plate 10. The screw 29 is loose in the sleeve 22 so that when it is unscrewed from the plate 10, the assembly 19, 20 may pivot slightly about the screw 26 to move the pallets 13, Fig. 1, towards and away from the teeth 14 of the escape wheel 15.
