Abstract
777,406. Clocks and watches. JUNGHANS AKT.-GES., GEB. July 1, 1955 [July 1, 1954], No. 19093/55. Class 139. In a dead-beat escapement the anchor body and the pallets are of sheet metal and the pallets form parts of the wall of a cylinder having its axis coaxial with the axis of the arbor of the anchor. In the first ex- ' ample, Fig. 1, the pallets 1a, 1b are bent over from the anchor body 1 mounted on the arbor 2. The plane of the anchor body may be located perpendicular to the axis of the arbor, Fig. 3 (not shown). In another example, Fig. 5, the pallets 21a, 21b are separate elements located by screws 23 in slots in flanges 24 of the anchor 20. In another example, Fig. 7, the pallets 31a, 31b are held against lugs 34 by rotatable eccentric pins.
