Abstract

A miticidal composition comprises a mixture of p-chlorophenyl p-chlorobenzene sulphonate and p-chlorophenyl benzene sulphonate in the proportions of approximately 10 per cent to 60 per cent, preferably 40 to 50 per cent, by weight of the former substance and approximately 90 per cent to 40 per cent, preferably 60 to 50 per cent, by weight of the latter substance, the mixture having a melting point below about 50 DEG C. and a toluene solubility exceeding that of either pure substance. The composition may be in an emulsifiable or emulsion or paste concentrate form by using suitable solvents and emulsifying agents.
