Abstract

A fungicidal composition for treating fruits and other agricultural products comprises benzoic acid in a finely-divided form mixed with a wetting agent, e.g. an alkylaryl sulphonate, surface-active agents and preferably containing from 2 1/2 -20 per cent by weight of wetting agent of the benzoic acid present. The products are preserved by treating in an aqueous bath containing the composition or the ingredients thereof added separately.
