761,233. Weighing-apparatus. GRIFFIN & GEORGE, Ltd. Dec. 28, 1953 [Dec. 27, 1952], No. 32791/52. Class 143. The pendulum weigher of the kind in which the weighing capacity of the weigher by moving the pendulum weight to either one of two positions, and in which two scales are provided, has settable upper and lower stops for the weight. The load pan 10 is mounted on a parallel motion linkage 19, 21, 123, 151, the link 151 forming the upper part of a pendulum arm 153 pivoted at 22. The pendulum weight 24 is held frictionally to the arm and can be moved against either stop 251 or 252, these stops being settable the weight of the load being read off the appropriate scale 271 or 272. The bar 31 pivoted to link 123 provides a hook 311 from which a load may be suspended when the weigher is used for buoyancy experiments.
