Abstract

1496389 Weighing machine NORDISCH A B 11 March 1975 [13 March 1974] 9972/75 Heading G1W A weighing machine comprises a housing 1 in which a weighing mechanism is positioned and a cover 6 which actuates the weighing mechanism, the housing 1 being provided with upwardly directed or directable suspension members 12 by which the machine may be suspended from a lifting device, the suspension members passing through openings in the cover, and the cover being provided with at least one attachment member 13 from which a person to be weighed may be suspended, the attachment member or members being positioned or capable of being positioned above the base of the housing so that the machine may also be used to weigh a person standing on it in the normal way. Yokes 15, 13 may be attached to the suspension members 12 and to the housing 1, Fig. 3. The attachment members 13 may be pivotally mounted on the cover, Fig. 4. The weight may be indicated by a disc 5 viewable through openings 9 and 9a.
