Abstract
758,632. Vehicles equipped with endless conveyer floors. LINES, E. W. P. Oct. 19, 1953 [July 18, 1952], No. 18158/52. Class 78 (4). The driving rollers 6, 7 for the endless belt floor 5 of a vehicle for laying material down in a trench silo are driven by a rope 11 wrapped around drums 6a, 7a and suitably anchored so that movement of the vehicle drives the endless belt. The belt and its driving rollers and drums may be carried by a frame adapted for attachment to an existing vehicle. The belt 5 is of waterproof canvas and its upper run is supported by rollers 9. The rate of unloading is controlled by a manually controlled tine wheel 21 and by a further tine wheel 17 driven manually through a belt 18 or from the shaft of the driving roller 7 through a belt or chain 20. The sides 13 of the vehicle may be of canvas or wire. The belt 5 is also used in loading the vehicle from one end.
