755,847. Milling-cutters. BRAYSHAW FURNACES & TOOLS, Ltd. Aug. 10, 1954 [Aug. 11, 1953], No. 22102/53. Class 83 (3). A milling-cutter comprises tapered blades B, each wedged in a tapered slot in the body A by a shim b<SP>1</SP>, the contacting faces of the blade and body having inter-engaging serrations inclined at an acute angle to the bottom of the slot. The blades are adjusted by inserting shims of different thickness while maintaining the serrated faces in engagement. The blades may cut on alternate sides.
