Abstract
754,361. Core constructions for dynamoelectric machines. RADE KONCAR TVORNICA ELEKTRICNIH STROJEVA. June 11, 1954, No. 17271/54. Class 35. A stator core comprises a number of packets of laminations angularly staggered, the corners of the laminations having salient portions with teeth and/or perforations, a casing being cast or moulded in situ about parts of the laminations. Fig. 5 shows an assembly of angularly staggered laminations in stack 14 between end pressure rings 18 and then an aluminium jacket 31 is centrifugally cast in such manner that the lamination crests 15, as well as, teeth 21 of the rings 18 become embedded in the casting. The latter may be reinforced by cylindrical steel members 33. A conical cylinder 27 surrounds the casting and finally a removable jacket is provided over the cylinder 27. Instead of aluminium, spelter or cement may be used. Specification 754,430 is referred to.
