Abstract
754,268. Pan racks. ALEXANDRIA TRADING CORPORATION, Ltd. April 29, 1955 [May 4, 1954], No. 13018/54. Class 28(2). A rack for pans comprises a number of forward projecting spaced loops of metal 1 on which the curve of the pan rests with its handle 4 downward in the spaces, the rim of the pan leaning against an abutment 15. Lids can be stored between 15 and another parallel rod 12. The loops of metal 1 are concave upwards to fit the curve of the pan. In a modification, Fig. 4, each pan rests on an inclined plate 19 the pan rim leaning against the upper edge 21 of the next plate 19, lugs 8a holding the pan in. The plates 19 at each end may be formed with inwardly inclined lugs 24 (or 26, Fig. 5, not shown), an apron depending from 19 to receive a tapered pan at one end and a frying pan at the other end. In Fig. 4, lids are received in slots 29 formed in a flange 28 projecting from the wall plate 20.
