741,965. Frames &c. for supporting viands while cooking. GILBERT R. A., and Mc- NAUGHT, B.A., [trading as PHOENIX SUPPLY CO.]., and WINMILL, A. R. Sept. 17, 1954 [Aug. 25, 1953], No. 23480/53. Class 28(1). A grid, for a grill pan 12, is longer than the grill pan so that it can rest on the front and rear walls 16, 17 spaced from the bottom 11 thereof and has a recess 13 rearwardly of its forward extremity so that, by moving the grid forwardly, the recess may rest over the front wall of the pan and the rear end of the grid may rest on the bottom of the pan. As shown, a sheet metal grid has one or more down turned lugs 10 at one end and, at its other end, a recess formed by one or more inverted channel formations 13 with extensions 14 so that it may rest in the positions shown in dotted and in chain dotted lines. The grid has side flanges 18, ridges 22, slots 23 and holes 24 and is pressed from sheet metal. A fork may be inserted in slot 28 to lift the grid from one position to the other.
