Abstract

347,440. Racks. MAJOR, J., 5, Westbourne Grove, Ashton-on-Mersey. March 31, 1930, No. 10164. [Class 52 (v).] A collapsable rack for holding saucepan lids and the like consists of two rods 1, 2 joined together in V-form, and adapted to be supported in a vertical plane, pegs 3, for supporting the lids, projecting from the front faces of the rods, and a cross piece 4 which maintains the V- formation by the engagement of holes therein with backwardly projecting portions of two of the pegs. The rods are joined at the bottom by a piece of springy metal 5, and the pegs make an angle of 45‹ with the rods. Screws may pass through the ends of the cross piece 4 into the pegs.
