479,623. Collapsable stands. PHILLIPS, C. S., and PHILLIPS TELESCOPIC TAPS, Ltd. Oct. 22, 1936, No. 28745. [Class 52 (v)] [Also in Group XVII] A stand for drums and other containers consists of a number of U-shaped metal elements a, b, c, pivoted together in the manner shown either by means of a rod d or without the use of this rod, the connection being such that the elements may be secured in either open or closed position. Portions x serve as feet, the stand being capable of use either way up. In a modified form, the radius portions consist of flat metal and the leg portions of rods which extend through the radius portions. In another alternative, the lower radius portion may be dispensed with. A tray may be mounted on the lower radius portion.
