In the hot-water storage tank assembly of the parent Specification, the bottom walls 10<SP>1</SP>, 11<SP>1</SP> of the two cylinders 10, 11 are outwardly domed and surrounded by steel or other strong skirts 14, 15 projecting below the bottom walls. The lower connecting pipe 13 lies between and is connected to the bottoms of the domed bottom walls.
