753,407. Galvanizing. HOPE & SONS, H., Ltd. Jan. 12, 1955 [June 21, 1954], No. 18109/54. Class 82(2). [Also in Group XII] A galvanizing bath consists of a container a built up of metal plates, a concrete and brick foundation b incorporating hot gas and air pre-heating passages d, f, and supplementary heating means for the sides of the container. The foundation has combustion chambers e supplied with liquid, gaseous or solid fuel and exhaust passages d conduct the gases to a stack. Combustion air is preheated in passages f. The sides of the containers are heated, as described in Specification 583,941, by combustion chambers g and hot gas passages h. These chambers g may also be supplied with pre-heated air by passages f.
