Abstract

752,064. Rotary pumps. CLAYTON DEWANDRE CO., Ltd. Nov. 19, 1954. No. 33595/54. Class 110(2) A radially outwardly sliding vane exhauster or the like substantially as described in Secification 752,061 in which the stator casing 1 is formed of a light weight metal such as aluminium surrounding an iron liner 2, formed to inter-engage with the casing, for the purpose of lightening tne weight of the exhauster and for the dissipation of heat. Oil for lubricating the bearings is introduced under pressure to a lubrication inlet port in one of the end plates. A plug 26 may be removed and a conduit from a windscreen wiper connected to a port 25 communicating with the inlet chamber 10.
