Abstract
752,055. Automatic regulation. PHILIPS ELECTRICAL INDUSTRIES, Ltd. Sept. 29, 1954 [Oct. 2, 1953], No. 28090/54. Class 38 (4). The D.C. voltage supplied to a load 2 from a variable source 1 via the collector/emitter path of,a p.n.p. junction transistor 3 is stabilized by applying a constant bias 4 to the base of the transistor. In a modification, Fig. 3 (not shown), the bias battery is replaced by a condenser charged from the input voltage. The polarities of the voltage sources, and the conductivity type of the transistor may be reversed. Specification. 752,031 is referred to.
