Abstract
751,798. Mould-vibrating tables. STORRIE, G. D. Sept. 3, 1954 '[April 5, 1954], No. 9862/54. Class 87(2) Moulded concrete articles are ejected from moulds clamped to vibrated table 1, by hydraulic rams 5 which pass through apertures 4 over which the mould boxes are positioned. These rams 5 eject the moulded concrete objects on an upwardly movable pallet forming the bottom of the mould box fixed to the table 1 by clamping bolts engaging apertures 9 and external flanges on the lower edges of the mould sides (see Fig. 3 not shown). The table is freely mounted on a framework 3 and may rest on rubber buffers 2 secured either to frame 3 or table 1. It is vibrated by electrical vibrator 7. In a modification two vibratory devices are secured to the moulding table 1, one on each side of the transverse bisector of the table, and only one hydraulic jack is used, having a number of rams corresponding to the number of apertures 4 in the table 1.
