957,424. Moulding concrete blocks. E. EVANS. Sept. 13, 1961 [June 17, 1960], No. 21272/60. Heading B5A. A mould box comprises a number of loose upright sides 1, 2, 3, 4 located within an open rigid outer frame 6, 7, 8, 9 by means of wedges 5, 10 formed on the sides and on inner surface of the frame 6, 7, 8, 9. The frame is located on a base member 15 by an upstanding ridge 16 and part of the base 13 serves as a pallet when the frames are removed from the moulded article. Inserts 11 to form moulding surfaces may be provided in the mould cavity. Metal strips 12 prevent material falling between the sides and the frame, both of which may be made of wood.
