899,836. Vacuum forming moulds. HOLLINGSWORTH, MARSHALL & CO. Ltd. March 24, 1961 [March 28, 1960], No. 10914/60. Class 87(2). [Also in Group XVII] A vacuum forming mould for the production of hollow-ware having undercut parts, has cores 7 pivoted at 9 so that they are retracted automatically when the moulded articles are removed. The cores may fall back into position or be urged back by springs. Instead of being at the corners of the mould the cores may extend along the sides. Further cores 5 and 6 may be provided at the base of the mould. The cores may overhang a rebate along two sides of the mould mouth to form a slideway in the article, with an included side of the mould mouth depressed to form an entrance to the slideway.
